If you are installing or moving a computer or printer to a new location, make sure there is a network socket available, and be aware that unused wall sockets are often not connected, so you’ll need to let us know beforehand.
Please give us a minimum of 3 days notice for new networking requirements.

‘Eduroam’ is provided to all members of the University, and is an easy way of accessing the internet, but it cannot be used to access departmental resources.
‘UniofCam’ is a wireless network for guest or occasional use. If you have a visiting colleague, you can create a guest ticket for them yourself.

New Software Library – 20/07/2015
You can now install software quickly and easily via our Software Self Service Site. This works even if you aren’t an administrator on your computer.
If you are using a version of Office older than Office 2013 you can use this service to take advantage of our Microsoft agreement and update to Office 2013 for free.

You can now get solutions to common problems via our CSCS Knowledge Base. Since it’s new, it’s quite bare in there at the moment, but we will be updating and transferring our internal documentation to it as fast as we can.
