We are pleased to announce that Office 365 is now available to Clinical School Staff. Office 365 has several benefits – one of which is 5 copies of Office for installation on your personal or home Windows PCs or Macs, and Office Mobile for phones and tablets.

To log onto the service visit https://portal.office.com and sign in with your @medschl.cam.ac.uk email address and password. An FAQ and detailed instructions are available in our guide site – https://cscs-itsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FAQ/pages/21365111/Office+365.  Please note that Office 365 Pro Plus should not be installed on departmentally owned computers – these use Office 2013/2016 instead, which can be installed for free via our software library site: http://software.medschl.cam.ac.uk.

Please note that Office 365 is not available for University visitors under the terms of the licence. More details on the new University licence here.

Further benefits of Office 365, including the 1TB OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business and Office Online will be added very soon once we have completed necessary preparation and testing.

Please note that we cannot offer direct support for personal and home computers or devices but we may be able to offer advice so if you can’t find an answer in the FAQ, please email the Service Desk at servicedesk@medschl.cam.ac.uk.  We would ask that you avoid calling the Service Desk with questions relating to Office 365 so that we can maintain a priority on our supported devices and services.

If you do not remember your Medschl password you will need to visit our Service Desk in the Clinical School with ID to reset it.
