Tuesday 21st November 2017 - Email Service Upgrades
CSCS are making some improvements to your email service to provide a better user experience.
From 15:50 on , CSCS will be taking a first step in upgrading our email servers, so that we can provide bigger mail boxes by default, and improved spam filtering. This affects all users with an @medschl.cam.ac.uk mailbox.
No changes should be required on any of your computers or mobile devices. The existing configuration should continue to work. If you are using Microsoft Outlook then you may see prompts asking you to restart Outlook. This is expected, normal behaviour.
If you do experience problems, please try the following before contacting us:
- Restart your email application
- Restart your computer
- Try accessing your mailbox using Webmail at https://webmail.medschl.cam.ac.uk
- Read our self-help page at https://confluence.medschl.cam.ac.uk/x/xQF3Ag
Thank you for your patience during the transition to the new email system.
